finding onchain data is hard. you'd have to plough through thousands of tools and dashboards to get what you want. that was me last week. spent the remaining part of the week (when i wasn't frustrated) building a solana dashboard that contains numbers like: > new wallets > active wallets but also, things like > average ltv per user on solana (spoiler: $300k ) > average fee spent wanted something marketer-friendly, too, so dig in! would LOVE to know what you think/what needs to be added. dune.com/gchimelu/ssgid

very true. compare this market with the bull run of '21. a lot of people believed in numerous projects and were willing to try them out. only thing really pumping these days is insanely good projects & worst-of-the-worst memecoins.
Crypto's harsh truth: Year after year newcomers join crypto as believers They are all told the same lies by project after project about believing in the tech, only to be proven wrong time and time again We are now nearing total eradication of the believer class Many of us still here believe we are traders, when we're actually just washed up believers turned rationalists, which is why we lost a shit ton of money last cycle But belief is the catalyst that continues to keep prices trending up and what makes crypto such a beautiful asset to speculate on We may never see a believers market again, for good and for bad The only remaining hope I see for a believers market again is for AI to usher in a new wave of belief in the impossible The great speculation of '27

"The enduring Nigerian spirit." WE CAN NO LONGER ENDURE, WE ARE FED UP!
Fellow Nigerians Today, we celebrate democracy and the enduring Nigerian spirit. For 27 unbroken years, since May 29, 1999, Nigerians have chosen their leaders through the ballot, witnessed peaceful transitions of power, and resolved disagreements in courtrooms and legislative chambers—not through violence. We have experienced the longest stretch of civilian rule in our history. Our democracy is not perfect, but it is ours, and we must continue to defend and strengthen it.

privacy concerns are growing bigger and bigger every year. the devices we carry around: phones, smart watches, smart rings, have become mini surveillance devices that big corporations can use to collect more data on us, 24/7. the UK wants to scan your messages & pictures before they get encrypted. but there is hope. web3 has been building privacy-focused infrastructure like zero-knowledge (zk) proofs, self-custody solutions, and decentralised identities. if there's ever a time when people needed privacy-focused solutions, it's now. privacy >>>>>>>>>>
BREAKING: The UK is drafting a law to scan every photo, video and message on every phone in the country. Tech CEOs who refuse to implement this could face up to 5 years in prison. The proposal would force companies to build device level scanners that inspect content before encryption. That means: • Every image scanned • Every message inspected • Every video analyzed All directly on your phone. Governments and companies pushing these safety” systems already have a terrible track record protecting user data. Last month, Europe’s new age verification app, promoted as a way to "keep children safe," was hacked in under 2 minutes. In another case, over 70,000 IDs and selfies linked to online verification systems were exposed in a major breach. Now the UK wants even deeper access directly inside your device. Once governments force surveillance tools into every phone, they can expand what gets monitored at any time.

Nigerians, please help me. 🧎‍♀️🙏 On the 16th of April, I received a call from a frightened teenager named Veronica. She told me that her father had forced her into marriage sometime in March to a man in his forties. She had been taken all the way from Cross River State to Plateau State, where she was trapped with a complete stranger. We spent days trying to locate her because she didn't even know where she was. I reported the case to the Chairperson of Child Protection in Plateau State, who then linked me with Vivien Abara. 💪 Together, we rescued her from that house, even though the man had already alerted security operatives within the area to prevent her escape. At the police station, he kept talking about the ₦600,000 and other payments he had made to her father. Meanwhile, Veronica kept crying and insisting that she did not know him and wanted nothing to do with him. Since then, I have moved her through two different temporary shelters across two geopolitical zones in Nigeria. Today, we need your help to raise atleast ₦3,000,000 to support Veronica's feeding, education, welfare, accommodation, and skills training as she begins rebuilding her life. Donate to: Bonnice Foundation Account Number: 0165410679 If you cannot donate, please share this post. Every repost could bring us closer to someone who can help. We have now found a caring family who has already taken her, but they need support to meet her daily needs and necessities. Veronica stopped school in SS1. Before this happened, she had just begun learning tailoring. She struggles to even read and write properly because the quality of education she received was extremely poor. She dreams of continuing her tailoring training so she can stand on her own feet, or, if possible, return to school and complete her education. Her father and the man she was forced to marry are still threatening her. The man has sworn not to let her go. But no law in Nigeria can force a teenager to remain married to a stranger against her will. The Violence Against Persons (Prohibition) Act (VAPP Act) also protects her from forced marriage and other forms of abuse. As an organisation @BONCAFO , we have completely exhausted our internal resources through the rescue, relocation, return, and placement process over the past two months. In the last three weeks alone, I have personally spent more than ₦300,000. There are many details I cannot publicly disclose for the safety of Veronica and everyone who has helped along the way. At this point, silence is no longer helping her case. Veronica is ready to tell the world what happened to her and plead for her father and this man to stop forcing her into a marriage she never wanted. No teenager should ever have to endure this kind of pain, fear, and trauma. If we had any other means, we honestly would not be here. We are a small but growing organisation, honoured to serve as a safety net for vulnerable members of society through the support of people like you. @iamrenike @miss_ezeani @misty_abisola @Hauwa_L @itschargiee @abbietayo @bloody___civ @temsbaby @almaasinobi @_DebbieOA @theladymotara d @Hybrid_Ola @comfortomovre @adekunleGOLD @Rene_noire @YarKafanchan @IAmDonawon @aproko_doctor @Wizarab10 @Dontee___ @ayrastarr @DONJAZZY @EstherUmoh10 @Kecyy @MrMekzy_ @BigBadReni @TheAblebaee @boy_director @virtuousii @Ssaasquatch @CaptainArinze

only 5% of solana memecoins survive after launch day. and no, i just didn't make that up, I ran a query on dune. as you can see from the car chart below, only about 1% survive after 13 days (day 0 = launch day) moral lesson? if you want to jump into a memecoin, the best you can do is get in on the day it was created. else, you might just be buying a ticket to the titanic.

Sad: Our Children Are Now Pawns in a Deadly Ransom Economy It’s heartbreaking to report yet another bandit attack on a school, barely three weeks after over 40 schoolchildren and their teachers were abducted and are still languishing in the forest. The security situation in Kogi State has taken another tragic turn with a brutal bandit attack on Government Secondary School, Iluke, in Kabba-Bunu LGA. Armed bandits disguised in military uniforms invaded the school during an ongoing WAEC examination, killed the Vice Principal, Mr. Gani Anifowose, and attempted a mass abduction of students. Reports from the scene indicate that local security personnel and vigilantes actively resisted the attackers and frustrated their abduction attempt. Making educational institutions soft targets is a direct assault on the nation’s future. It creates a psychological barrier to school enrolment and worsens Nigeria’s out-of-school children crisis, disproportionately forcing young girls out of formal education due to fear. There is nothing more heartbreaking for a nation than being unable to protect its children. My heartfelt condolences go to the family of the Vice Principal, who lost his life while gallantly defending the children entrusted to his care. May God grant his soul eternal repose.-PO

Three weeks ago, my 23-year-old neighbor was kidnapped on her way to Kontagora in Niger State. While in captivity, the bandits repeatedly raped her taking turns sleeping with her night after night. Still, they kept bargaining with her father over the phone, demanding ransom even as they violated her. Her father fought with everything he had. He hustled day and night, borrowed from everyone, took loans, sold whatever he could determined to bring his daughter home. When he finally gathered the full amount, he called the bandits and begged them, ‘Please, give the phone to my daughter. Let me speak to her. I want her to know I’m coming for her.’ They gave her the phone. In a broken, traumatized voice, she told her father: ‘Dad, do not suffer yourself looking for the money. They have been sleeping with me. I’m traumatized. I can’t forgive myself. Even if I’m released, I’ll kill myself. Don’t bother paying the ransom.’ Those were the last words she ever spoke to him. While her father was still holding the phone, he heard the gunshot. He heard his daughter being killed. Moments later, the bandits sent pictures of her remains to him, a final act of cruelty. A 23-year-old girl. My neighbor. Someone’s daughter, someone’s sister, someone’s friend gone in the most horrific way possible. This is not just one story. This is the nightmare too many families are living in Niger State and across Nigeria. Young women snatched on the roads, violated, used as bargaining chips, and discarded like nothing. Living in Nigeria has become truly scary. You wake up, you step out, and you don’t know if you or your loved ones will return home. The fear is constant. The pain is constant. And too often, justice never comes. Rest in peace to my neighbor.
As you're out there looking for your daily bread, I pray Nigeria never happens to you.

CONTINUOUS ABDUCTION OF NIGERIAN SCHOOLCHILDREN AND THE COLLAPSE OF SCHOOL SAFETY After congratulating Nigerian children as they celebrate their day today, my heart remains heavy and troubled, knowing that some Nigerian children have remained in captivity for years. It is a shame that days, weeks, months, and even years have passed while our children continue to languish in kidnappers’ dens, with their heartbreaking images still circulating on social media. A nation that cannot protect its children from criminals has little but shame to present to the global community. No parent can bear the shame of being unable to protect his or her children, yet here we are as a nation, moving on while our children continue to suffer in forests and captivity for years. -PO

🧵Analytic Sages Weekly Recap – May 22nd, 2026 Data analysts don’t believe in “trust me, bro.” Around here, if it doesn’t have a source or it’s not in a dashboard, it’s just a rumor. Here’s a snapshot of what happened and what’s coming next in the community. 👋 A Note from the Founder Hey Sages, Honest question: how often do you stay with a problem long enough to actually be surprised by it? 🤔 Does that question make sense? Most analytical work gets resolved before it gets interesting. Not because the analyst ran out of time, but because the first answer that makes sense feels like a conclusion. The problem is that "plausible" and "accurate" are not the same. The most useful findings rarely live on the surface. They live just past the point where most people stopped looking — @apostleoffin 🔥 Dashboard Highlight of the Week This week's spotlight shines on @fructoseweb3, featuring a marketer-friendly ‘Simple Solana Growth Intelligence Dashboard.’ View the full breakdown of methods and insights here: x.com/fructoseweb3/status/20… 🚀 Ongoing Events & Programs √ Cohort 8: Become a Blockchain Analyst Cohort 8 started with a few lovely and intellectual individuals with curious minds, so far, these minds have learnt and delivered their week 1 task, which involved: 🔗SQL Joins – Connecting data across multiple tables (wallets ↔ transactions ↔ protocols) 📊SQL Aggregations – Summarizing data with COUNT, SUM, AVG, GROUP BY 🚀 Upcoming Programs & Events Mark your calendars and get involved. does clipping work? well it worked on me. so i was on instagram and saw a short clip, turned into a reel, about a really intense film dialogue. went through the comments, saw people praising it, searched for it, turns out it was a series. now, i don't usually do series. but i decided to try it out since it was just 6 episodes. guess who finished season 1 overnight? moral lessons: > clipping works if the clipped AND source material are of great quality. > original or related material should be easy to find for curious viewers. > organic promotion is the way to go. not people commenting 'great movie' and 'wow' under it. > diversify your platforms. x isn't the only place for your crypto product. we're like 20 people here? > make onboarding easy. all i had to do was see it was on prime, go there, and start watching. > anything else you'll add?

prediction makes aren't going away soon. in fact, institutions just entered the chat. 👀 recent data shows institutions are taking these markets very seriously: > about 40% of kalshi's volume comes from institutions. - the company that owns the new york stock exchange, ice, invested $2 billion into polymarket. - tradeweb, the platform moving $2.6 trillion daily in rates and credit, partnered with kalshi and took equity. don't just see prediction markets as where people gamble. it's worth taking a second look at this new asset class.
