Well, my adoring public, I just have to share with you that have just been awarded the Colossal Fossil award for services rendered to our best friends, coal and gas! Here I am with Captain Methane and my big cheque to spend (on guess who). So many cheers and toots!
#KooyongVotes
No contest here. She might be saving lives but I brought you the news of more carparks! She might have endorsements, but I am going to plaster you with 6pg pamphlets and wall2wall billboards between now and May! Can't compete with 30 pieces of election letterbox eye candy #auspol
I can’t stand by while our local member votes with Barnaby Joyce on climate change.
That’s why I’m putting my hand up to be Kooyong's community candidate. I will be a true representative and fight for women's safety, climate action and a Federal ICAC.
#Mon4Kooyong#auspol
Yup. Exactly my thoughts, and all the reasons why our government's excellent, well-costed ambitious 26-28% by 2030 (3.5 °C by 2100) climate policy will prevail.
#MagicPudding#CarbonCreditsToTheRescue
We know who our friends are and we won't disappoint them.
#KooyongVotes
It's nice to be appreciated for once. My feelings have been hurt by what happened at the Lido and this will be just the tonic I need!
Please invite everyone you know. Internal polling etc. I really need the support.

The forgotten people will be thrilled to bits with the cashless welfare card, so handy at fruit and veg shops, the market and buying second hand!
Menzies lives on! Can't wait to offer more carparks to #KooyongVotes and finance troops on AUKUS adventures!
Frydenberg rallys the troops with talk of the indue card and work for the dole.
He assumes that the Quiet Australians are also deaf and blind to how useless the Liberals have been for years.
#auspol
Listen up! I'm about to be given the prestigious Colossal Fossil Award, for the stratospheric quality of our modelling of the #NetZero planphlet presented at #COP26, plus global obstruction and $$$$$$ (yours) to gas! Applause needed Dec 10, 5.30pm lighterfootprints.org/event/…#auspol
You think you have won little greenies, because I have just had to ask Adani for more info that was a teensy bit more recent than 2012 or 2013?
Don't you worry about that. We have ways of making Courts choose Adani's most favourable option! sciencedirect.com/science/ar…#StopAdani
just checking that everyone knows that the @acccgovau:
• did not say we need more "baseload" generation
• did not say the government should subsidise coal power
• did not endorse any technologies.
#auspol
a reminder that all the nations contributing under 2% to global global warming are collectively more important than india or china.
australia is at the head of the ‘under 2%’ club.
…and no other major country will ever have per capita emissions as high as we do now. #auspol
Nope. The LNP tell me that we we need "baseload".
• three coal plants
• one State funded Adani railway
• and Christmas and the Lord's Prayer
None of this clean, shaped and despatchable.
My #NEG is coal's "best chance" and more essential fossil dosh.

As more and more wind and solar is added to the grid, the shape of their output is also changing, and in a way that should give confidence about a clean energy future based around a high level of variable renewable energy sources.. reneweconomy.com.au/changing…
'Unprecedented' solar panel installations in #Aus
Solar 25% homes in 6 years 2011 to 2017
Solar projection 50% homes in 4 years to 2022
Just preparation for perfect storm of battery take-up
30GWh storage by 2022
Yes, really.

Peaking profits all gone! That Big Battery has dropped prices in FCAS market by 90%. And its internationally famous. The new hybrid wind solar storage renewables will slash obscene Gentailer profits and show up the whole "baseload" shtick reneweconomy.com.au/the-chan…#qanda#StopAdani
4Q 18 PV module price crash due to global supply glut -and that's why we're rocking on with coal, eh Tony.
New coal is just so affordable ($4bn) and timely (4-6 yrs) and will compete so well (power >$100/MWh) compared to Stockyard Hill at around $50/MWh
Go Tony! #StopAdani#qandax.com/pvmagazineoz/status/10…
And another thing, Tony, don't you worry about those emissions targets. We've got that covered with our over ambition clauses, locked in targets with no reviews for 10 years. And our 26% low ambition will clobber farmers and truckers! #NEGligent#StopAdanix.com/simonahac/status/10161…
a new 1200MW coal power station (wanted by @The_Nationals) would:
• cost ~$4bn to build
• take 4-6 years from when project was fully approved & financed
• produce power for >$100/MWh, requiring subsidies for its entire life
this is why i'm confident it'll come to nothing.
Yes! @mattjcan: NEW coal power stations will lower prices! Fantastic.
Our fossil donors will keep coughing up.
Who cares if Reputex says renewables with storage is now cheaper than gas for peaking (peaking drives those obscene profits): reputex.com/.../update-the-e…#qanda#StopAdani
Yippee -about to meet the EPA Administrator. Pruitt's being "retired" for pants & lotions but incoming Andrew Wheeler will be able to give me first hand advice on how to firm up my diktat that the #NEG will be coal's "best chance" reneweconomy.com.au/frydenbe…#qanda#NoNewCoal#auspol
