What should be a 2 minute walk to Campbell Park for people living on the east side of the tracks currently takes 20. And that’s just one example — the Antler-Lappin connection will provide better access to schools, services, and community facilities for everyone in the area.

Can Toronto area MPs clarify whether Ford indeed has your support to destroy tens of thousands of housing units while stripping away our environmental rights & protections for jets? @RunChiNguyenRun @EvanLSolomon @juliedabrusin @JulieDzerowicz @kbardeesy @j_maloney #cdnpoli

Can’t say enough good things about Strongmen by ⁦@ruthbenghiat⁩. Amazingly thorough history of tyrants that removes any confusion about the Donald’s actions. Published in 2020, it clearly needs to be read by more people because he still managed to win a second term.

Danish PM Frederiksen: "There are still red lines on the weapons Ukraine can use to win this war. You cannot win a war with one hand tied behind your back. We need to give them the weapons to strike inside Russia. We’ve been having this discussion for years — and we’re still having it. For the last three conferences, I’ve asked the same question: Why aren’t we providing the air defense they desperately need? Yet the response is always the same — hesitation and shrugs. They still don’t have enough air defense. You cannot protect a country without it. We know exactly what must be delivered: unrestricted long-range weapons and, of course, NATO membership. If we had made that decision in Vilnius, the situation today would be completely different. We know what to do. But first we must finally recognize, understand, and accept one hard truth: Russia will not change."

Good morning Alberta. Here’s a little reminder for you all, of how Alberta is never going to leave Canada. You can wish, and hope, and dream. But get comfy, because you’re not going anywhere.

Gavin Newsom just ripped the mask off: “All this anti-woke stuff is just anti-Black. Period. Full stop.” And he’s not wrong. “Anti-woke” was never a philosophy, it was a PR stunt to make racism sound like a policy position, to repackage bigotry as “intellectual debate,” and to roll back every inch of progress Black Americans fought for.

I am a civic nationalist. A Canadian civic nationalist. One of the great things about Canada is that our nationalism includes everyone. It’s not based on ethnicity.

Speed enforcement cameras keep kids safe, like they do here at Vincent Massey Public School. Today, @fordnation is turning them off. It’s a stupid and thoughtless decision. One that will make our streets less safe, for our kids, and everybody else.

Canada was declared measles-free in 1998. Now, due in large part to vaccine disinformation Canada has lost that status, with 5,000 cases of measles, 167 hospitalizations and 3 infant deaths in the last year Please get vaccinated. #vaccineswork cbc.ca/news/health/livestory…

Greatly appreciate the opportunity yesterday to show Davenport MP @JulieDzerowicz the impact @Metrolinx has had on the Junction Triangle neighbourhood. Many promises, lots of disruption, no community benefits.
Thanks to Kevin Putnam, local leader, for the bike tour around the #DavenportTO overpass. Over the last 10 years, local community members negotiated with Metrolinx to ensure that there would be community benefits if the #Davenport overpass was built.
