This lady picks up discarded vapes on her runs, & she points something out that I didn't know (mainly bc I never thought about it): They contain batteries. These are paticularly damaging for the environment & should be recycled. I'll pay extra attention on my walks from now on.

national. He has permanent residence. As a citizen of Austria you cannot have dual nationality. Farage would take his little flat off him. He tutors the teen boy over the road for free doing O' level German. Terrible really what Farage intends.

Jack Munroe has a lovely cheap recipe mixing salmon paste into spaghetti. If money is tight makes nice spaghetti. Surprisingly tasty.
Bloody hell, thereโ€™s a memory from the past.. I had many a paste butty as a kid, & I also remember potted beef which you can still get today๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿ‘Š When I ran supermarkets in the early 80โ€™s we sold hundreds of jars of paste, Shiphams was the other brand๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ‘Š #memories

Begs the question what Pooh was doing in the hole in the first place...๐Ÿ˜ฌ๐Ÿค”
โ€œIf we canโ€™t pull you out, Pooh, we might push you back.โ€ Rabbit scratched his whiskers and pointed out that, when once Pooh was pushed back, he was back, and of course nobody was more glad to see Pooh than he was, still, some lived in trees and some lived underground. ~A.A.Milne

I think about this every day. In the Netherlands, if a person dies alone, without any family or friends as mourners, a poet will be sent to write a poem and read it at the burial service. It's called the Lonely Funeral Project, and it's just humans being good humans.

The successive British governments of each political parties have systematically cut funding for the teaching of English as a second language not only for students but for training as a teacher of a second language. Well over 20 years ago I did a teaching course but then there
๐Ÿšจ Pope Leo XIV has sent a WARNING to migrants, telling them how to behave when they arrive into new countries: 'Learn its language, to respect its laws, to get to know its customs, to participate in communal life and to offer your gifts with gratitude'

Government support if you wanted to teach English. No point in asking students to learn English if there's no one to teach it.
