Hello, here is a release candidate if anyone wants to try it out (requires MBO package from
@SierraChart). This update also contains Forex Factory that works with OpenGL enabled.
For the MBO Blocks study, the final release shouldn't change anything settings wise. There are just a few GDI related items I'm waiting to resolve that I have a support ticket in to see if they are actually issues or not (these don't affect anything in the current study).

Thanks
@ZigsOnTheBid for the initial idea for this. It wasn't something I had thought of doing with the original study for MBO that only showed text.
Ludatrades also provided some help with some GDI related questions. (

Thanks
@TicinoTrader with testing/feedback and also working on building chartbooks for this. I believe those will be released soon.
Thanks
@Trade_theVolume for very detailed and excellent feedback in testing. And also the idea of offsetting the study when using a Chart DOM to show the blocks on the chart vs the DOM.
youtube.com/@FrozenTundraTra… always providing great code examples to work off of :)
Feature wise, I am still looking at adding more scaling options. But not there yet. Also some visual aspects regarding how things are drawn/font related etc... but need to resolve the GDI stuff I was speaking of first.
And I'm probably forgetting also but many people have provided great feedback in general. If I could add all the requests in right away I would. But, will try to get to them if/when I can.
Finally, no source code for this release as it contains some band aides to have it work properly when OpenGL is enabled vs disabled for the MBO Blocks study. It works fine both ways. But, I would like to permanently fix it so there are no work arounds.
Either way, I will release full source soon. It's nothing special or secret. It's just a mess in a few areas and may create more confusion if someone is trying to use any of it as an example.
Ok, sorry for long post. But wanted to put something out since it's been a while and you can reach a point of never finishing something due to endless attempts at perfection :)
