In the folklore of Brittany, it is said that as Jesus suffered upon the cross, a small robin settled beside him and carefully tried to pluck the thorns that tormented him 🪶
For its compassion, the robin was blessed...and ever since, as it sits on the bare branches of winter trees, it is viewed with love and as a symbol of kindness and hope by all those who pass by 🍒❄️
