CONSTANTINO CAMPAIGN DEMANDS SMULLEN DISAVOW CLOSET ALLY’S ATTEMPT TO GET A NY-21 POLICE OFFICER FIRED FOR SHAKING CONSTANTINO’S HAND
Edinburg, NY – June 14, 2026 – Anthony Constantino today publicly called on Robert Smullen to immediately and publicly disavow his closest political ally, John Livingston, who is attempting to have a Fort Plain Police Officer fired for the simple act of shaking Anthony Constantino’s hand.Â
The campaign condemned the effort as a reprehensible attack on a public servant and his family, and demanded accountability from Smullen, who has so far refused to do anything.
“Attacking me is fine, that’s politics,” said Anthony Constantino. “But for Smullen’s closest ally to threaten the livelihood of a police officer because he shook my hand is disgusting. Livingston is the same guy who lied at the Fulton County GOP Meeting about me on record to help Smullen, filed a false FEC complaint against me, and was still a VIP invite of Smullen’s at the event.”
John Livingston is a close ally and frequent VIP of Smullen who frequently carries out Smullen’s political dirty work. Members of the public and Constantino’s campaign informed Smullen of Livingston’s threat to destroy an officer’s career. Hours after Livingston issued the threat to the police officers, Smullen has thus far not addressed the threat by Livingston.Â
“No one deserves to be threatened simply for engaging with a politician in public,” said Constantino. “This was the basis for why I endorsed President Trump. I was tired of seeing people bullied into silence by Democrats. Many Republicans have told me privately that they are scared to publicly support me because they think Smullen will harm them in some way. Enough is enough. Smullen must disavow this threat to an officer’s livelihood by his well known ally John Livingston.”

Hey New York. @GovKathyHochul and the Democrat legislative leaders lied to you.
They stood at a podium and told you the budget was $268 billion.
The real number? $277 billion.
That’s $9 BILLION more than they claimed and they didn’t tell you until the official Financial Plan dropped weeks later.
Here’s how the shell game works:
They announce a number at the “general agreement” presser, when the cameras are rolling. They print and pass the bills. Then, quietly, the Division of Budget publishes the actual number. $277B.
$9 billion is not a rounding error. And they buried it in a document they released late, hoping you wouldn’t read it.
When you can’t trust the number they give you on the spending, why would you trust them with your money at all?
This is exactly why the Comptroller, the state’s independent fiscal watchdog, can’t be a rubber stamp for Albany. For 19 years it has been.
It’s time to fire every single one of these lying bums.

Robert Smullen has been endorsed by the NRA for Congress #NY21.
The gun lobby group reviewed candidates for NY’s districts 21, 12 and 7. Out of 17 candidates, Smullen is the only one to get an A. Everyone else got an F or a “?”, like his opponent for the GOP nomination.

Anthony lied about and disparaged Charlie. This after Charlie delivered 2024 for the President. He lied about me and my family. Now he is lying about a decorated Marine.
He cannot be trusted.
Anthony is not “conservative” in any sense of the word. He is not the future we should want for the Republican Party.
The majority will be decided by a small number of house races. If he wins this primary on June 23, NY21 will be in play & the DCCC will pour in millions.

This was Anthony Constantino’s response when it was discovered he has employed both a charged murderer and currently employs a child sex predator who inappropriately touched a 14-year-old girl.
This is the company that Constantino keeps, and defends.
Time and time again, Anthony Constantino has demonstrated that he lacks the judgement to serve in Congress, this is another jarring example - he is dangerously unfit.
