Unpaid carers contribute the equivalent of 4 million paid care workers to the social care system. But who is classed as an unpaid carer? What kind of support do they can and are they able to access it? We explore these questions in our report ➡️ kingsfund.org.uk/insight-and…

Here's another e.g. of what I call a 'hancock' - when #socialcare is added to policies that are really about the NHS. Here it's a draft @NHSEngland 'care partner' policy which it says will cover social care. But social care is a separate sector with 18k independent providers. 1/2
