If you prefer to self-host, the roadmap is a little more developed with sendy.co. Iโ€™ve used them for years and theyโ€™re great. AWS as well.

Just use sendy.co or something similar and run it on your aws account. No constraints other than AWS itself. I have built this for my clients before and it just works. And in the long run and a lot of emails itโ€™s just the cheapest option

STOP LIVING IN THE PAST! Some people spend $ THOUSANDS on a chimp to send their mail. I just integrated @openclaw with Sendy (.co) and it costs me $8 to send 50K emails. FUTURRRRR IS HERE!

@marclou considering sendy.co/ if youโ€™re ok with self hosting and a one time fee. They are using AWS email and itโ€™s like $1 for 10,000 emails, itโ€™s crazy.

7. There are two happy days in the life of @Mailchimp clients โ€“ the day when they signed up, and the day when they finally migrated to a cheaper alternative. Choose wisely, in my experience marketing emails cost rise faster than anything else. I recommend sendy.co

As others have said - I recommend sendy.co and using Amazon SES. You'll spend a fraction of that a month. Build the emails in DesignModo, in HTML or a similar tool, and then send with Sendy.

Just sent out the first newletter with @getSendy. Seems to have worked perfectly! Also, loads of people replied along the lines of "great to hear from you โ€“ but where the hell have you been?!", which was really lovely ๐Ÿ˜

My main email list has over 35,000 subscribers and I email them frequently. I have been using Sendy (sendy.co/) to do this and would recommend it to anyone. Great features and extremely affordable.

I like the self-hosted option myself Chris, I moved marketing e-mail operations onto @getSendy about a year ago and have been happy with that solution.

I recommend setting up sendy on an AWS server ... It's like 100 times cheaper than using MailChimp. sendy.co/ ... We use it @Lingopietv and it kills.
