I’m building something new: engmanager.ai Everyone’s talking about Devin and AI coding agents. But what about management? With more automated workers, every engineering manager will be in charge of larger, faster teams. It will come fast and they need better tools. I’ve been speaking with managers and tech leads who already feel like they’re always behind. They have to stay on top of tons of context. They’re frequently pinged with tasks, open PRs, blockers, questions, and meetings. It’s not easy. I felt the same challenges managing a team of engineers. So I built this for myself, and then started rolling it out to others: our GitHub and Linear integrations pull activity, and an LLM tells you (1) what everyone is up to and (2) where to direct your attention — highlighting what’s running over this sprint, what’s blocking PRs, and why. Our goal is to build the orchestration layer above Linear and Jira, serving information and tasks to you — recommending what you should delegate away and who you need to check up on. Ultimately, we want to raise the engineering velocity of every one of our customers. We’re already building out better features for 1-1s, reviews, product planning and more.
