Doom is a business model. The more hopeless they can make you feel, the more likely you are to pay them to explain it to you.
If Canada is so unaffordable, how are these people making a living screaming about it on the internet full time?
Canada has real problems worth talking about. Housing costs are brutal. Groceries are expensive. Those are legitimate conversations.
But thereโs a difference between someone trying to fix a problem and someone trying to monetize it. One of them wants things to get better. The other needs things to stay broken.
