This was disturbing to read on many levels and triggering as a parent in RETSD and survivor of teacher student misconduct/ abuse. The failure from all involved of a system that states our children are safe from many different levels (@MBGov, Manitoba Teacher Society, @RETSDschools and School) that allowed inappropriate conduct to take place and hide it rather than remove the individual from any access to any further children in Manitoba’s education system. Something i know to well. As well the comments made by the superintendent showing a disregard for conduct of staff toward students within the division's care.
