Biome Lumina at @DatalandMuseum is going to melt minds. 🦋 Already recognised butterflies owned by @ats_eth, @sergitosergito, ShogunAI in this video - and can’t wait to experience pieces from my own collection in person, while seeing thousands of people see, hear and even smell works I own inside what’s shaping up to be the greatest AI art museum ever created.

Brian is a phenomenal collector and curator. While others fundraise to play patron or pretend to be one online - he just builds.
I realize now that I’ve always curated AND self-produced my own shows. Only recently in ETHCC Cannes I was hired to curated and was given a venue and budget to work with. But for all of my shows before that I always paid out of pocket everything and everyone. I paid for artwork production and framing, I’ve paid for shipping transportation and accommodation of my artists, I’ve paid for venue and booth, I’ve paid for food and beverage, I’ve paid for service, security and handling staff. I’ve never had and never looked for private or public sponsoring because to me that what a gallerist do ! (And I don’t even take 50%) And I realize I likely paid (despite being just a guy in his 20’s trying to do cool stuff ) much more thing than platforms whom have done funding rounds in millions and despite not having huge budget I manage to pull out show that had nothing to envy from the one they could organized. My NFT Paris booth was quite an example of that, managed to make one of the most memorable booth of the edition with less than 5000€. I didn’t cut cost, just did a lot myself, had quote in the 5 figures range for the booth, ended up buying and cutting the wood myself and building the wall myself. Countless of exemples, more my next show schedule to open in July in Paris I’ll be doing that all over again but to a much higher degree. I think I’m done trying to make gold with copper and working with peanuts budgets. I want to try my luck commuting 5 figure budget, making precious gem from raw diamonds and I got to admit for the first time I’ve been thinking of getting sponsors. With a 20% commission (got a gallery partner) I need to sell more than I ever did just to keep the light on, but I guess that’s what conviction in an artist is ! I’m all in ! So if you can help with a RT and intro to a collector or a potential sponsor please do ! This how we build

This is what it costs to carry something beautiful. "To bloom is to be wounded." Honoured to collect this @_r0yart 1/1.

Every year the crowd at @NFCsummit gets smaller and the warmth gets bigger. Got to spend real time with people I love, and meet a few new ones I’m very glad to know now. That’s the whole thing, really. See some of you in Basel. See the rest of you somewhere out there.

Looking forward to June. @DatalandMuseum - an immersive, omni-sensory AI art museum - opens in Los Angeles. @ArtBasel Basel, arguably the most conservative and influential art fair on earth, expands its digital art presence through Zero 10. @NFCsummit Lisbon returns with a major art-first program. You might not be everywhere - but you must pay attention. Something’s clearly building.

Offer something “free” and bots will flood the comments instantly, without context or understanding. At that point, the engagement itself becomes the artwork. I was one of the first to ask for one, but my request got buried in the chaos, or maybe rejected by @Jediwolf altogether. Stupid, fun, unfair. Perfect internet art!
"inferior art" 100/100 by jediwolf This inferior edition is a free gift - 100 pieces. If you want one please DM me. P.S. All artists have one reserved for them ❤️

No one needed platforms. We spent years optimising minting, cutting costs, removing friction - all in the name of accessibility. And in doing so, we stripped away the thing that gave digital art its weight: intention. There are millions of NFTs now. Almost none of them matter. Ease didn't elevate the space. It diluted it. When creation is effortless and distribution is infinite, meaning becomes optional. And when meaning is optional, it gets ignored. Maybe the next move isn't building better platforms. Maybe it's abandoning them entirely. Artists building their own environments - custom sites, self-contained worlds, spaces where work lands with context instead of getting lost in an endless feed. Platforms standardise. Art resists standardisation. And curators - you got lazy. Algorithms replaced instinct. Volume replaced selection. Safety replaced risk. Curation isn't sorting, it isn't aggregation. It's choosing what deserves to be seen and what doesn't. If everything gets shown, nothing is curated.

One thing I’ll never understand about England is the obsession with pretending the weather here is always awful. London actually gets more annual sunshine than cities like Amsterdam or Berlin, and gets half the yearly precipitation of New York. The real issue is that the country acts like warm weather is an impossible event. The second it gets hot, public transport becomes unbearable, flats turn into ovens, and every portable AC unit either sells out or dies immediately. Currently melting and apparently this is just my life for at least 2 months every year.

Digital Art Summit 2026 | ACT 03 Trust, Time, and Taste: Inside a Digital Art Collection
June 15, 2026 | 11:40 - 12:25 CET Collecting digital art is an act of trust. Trust in artists, in technologies, and in futures that are still unfolding. This conversation offers an intimate look into the motivations, relationships, and long-term commitments behind building a digital art collection. Beyond transactions and trends, it explores how taste is formed over time and how collectors live with artworks that evolve, persist, and sometimes resist ownership.
 Speakers: ▫️@NinaRoehrs, Art Advisor, @arabbankCH (Switzerland) ▫️Michael Bogan, Founder, @ragnar_art (United States) ▫️@gmspace_, Collector (United Kingdom) ▫️@thefunnyguysNFT, Co-founder @lerandomart & Raster (Belgium) Moderator: ▫️@eleonorabrizi, Digital Art Curator - Co-founder of @100collectors (Italy)
Introducing the Digital Art Summit 2026 July 15, 2026 | Basel, Switzerland Register: luma.com/e5ln1z3l Presented by ArtMeta in partnership with @arabbankCH, @RtClick_Save, and @lerandomart. Digital art spans more than 70 years of experimentation among art, science, and technology. The Digital Art Summit brings together artists, collectors, curators, and institutional voices for a full day of conversations at the intersection of art history, technology, and cultural infrastructure. Taking place during Art Basel week, the Summit examines how digital art is made, collected, legitimized, and remembered, tracing a line from the earliest computational practices to the systems and protocols shaping artistic production today.

This thread captures why Pollock never fully lands for me despite all the institutional reverence.
Monday night at Christie's, a Jackson Pollock sold for $181.2 million, nearly tripling the previous Pollock record and landing the painting at number four on the all-time auction list. Let's take a moment to look at how the saliency map of 20th-century art history got concentrated quite so hard on one name. #eduslop
