#unpopularopinion The sport should get rid of wavelights/pacer racers ALL TOGETHER. 🫣 The main attraction of T&F is the competition of the race & the WINNER, not the time or breaking of records every time. I think it leaves viewers unimpressed when the target isn’t met. 🤷🏽♀️

Question for track fans. Why are wavelight and pacers largely acceptable for non-championship racing but not for championship races?

As hard as it was to watch from the stands; that 100m hurdle race at Olympic Trials was PHENOMENAL! Congratulations to the women representing TEAM USA: Masai, Alaysha, Grace! And all the women in the final…WOW!!!
