Having had challenges with @HeathrowAirport recently, a big shout out to them for a trouble free experience yesterday morning. As good a flight connection experience as I can remember. Now, if only the same could be said for @British_Airways ……..

Orphanages don't help children, they harm them. Every child wants a safe, loving family to grow up in. But millions of children confined to orphanages & other forms of institutional care around the world are being denied this. #AlwaysFamilyNeverOrphanages #Deinstitutionalisation
Five reasons orphanages harm children. 1 half the children confined in orphanages suffer violence: torture, beatings, physical chemical restraints, and rape perpetrated by some staff, volunteers, people who pay for access to them, and from other children hopeandhomes.org/

So sorry to learn of the passing of Cliff Dochterman. One of my Rotary heroes and one of the first RI Presidents I met. A wonderful, inspirational speaker with a great sense of humour. I will cherish the note he sent when my nomination was announced. He will be sadly missed.
