My first highlighted game of
@BCATHOOPS delivered a fun showdown between the new-look Blackman squad and a gritty Gatlinburg-Pittman group that refused to back down. From the opening tip, both teams came out firing with efficient shooting, sharp execution, and crisp ball movement that kept the action flowing. Blackman held a slim 19-16 lead after the opening quarter and carried that momentum into the second as both teams continued trading punches. Neither side could create much separation, but Blackman stayed steady and took a 34-29 lead into the locker room.
The third quarter proved to be the turning point. Blackman began finding a groove offensively and started stacking quality possessions together while tightening things up defensively. That steady rhythm allowed them to build a 46-36 advantage heading into the final quarter. Gatlinburg-Pittman showed plenty of fight and toughness down the stretch, turning the fourth quarter into a battle and making Blackman earn every possession. The effort was there until the final horn, but Blackman continued answering every challenge and closed out a hard-fought 61-50 victory.
The Prodigy,
@MilesA_2028, wasted little time making an impact in his Blackman debut. The dynamic guard finished with 21 points, 6 assists, 3 rebounds, and 3 steals while knocking down four triples. His scoring, playmaking, and ability to create offense gave Blackman a spark throughout the night. On the other side, savvy 2028 guard Chris Fudger (
@CrisFudger2028)
put together one of the most impressive performances of the game. Cris exploded for a game-high 25 points with 4 rebounds and three triples, operating like a one-man wrecking crew all game long. The crafty shot-maker repeatedly found ways to create space, score through contact, and make difficult baskets look routine. His footwork on the block was outstanding, his creativity with the ball kept defenders guessing, and the grit and toughness he displayed from start to finish made him impossible to ignore.
