Physical AI Hack 2026 at Founders Inc in San Francisco Builders came together for a robot hackathon with real hardware like the LeRobot SO-100, LeKiwi, Unitree G1 and others. Teams tackled live manipulation challenges picking from puzzle and shape insertion, plugging in chargers, and pouring liquids into cups. We explored transfer learning, fine tuning VLMs and VLAs, closed loop policies, and generalization across messy environments all with visible, measurable progress that you can't fake. Physical AI is bridging the gap from digital models to tangible impact faster than ever, but the real magic happens when hardware meets adaptive software. Shout out to organizers @fdotinc, Dhruv Diddi, Devinder Sodhi more

Looking closer at the Orca Slicer settings it shows the nozzle was not the only problem. Using a Ender 5 Pro with PETG so the temperatures had to come up and raised the infill to 25%, the other defaults seem fine for this quick print. Will see how the ESP32 fits with this one

Have another prototype case printing now The ESP32-C6 and screen are pretty compact only a 1 x 2 inch case for now, but the final build will have more components New Orca Slicer PETG settings are already looking a lot better will refine the print quality more later on

Attacker sent fake Sentry bug report to an AI AI uses suggested bad npm package entire contents of .env sent to attacker x.com/sergeykarayev/status/2…

"Urgent Security Notice re: Your Sentry Organization" Someone tried to hack Sentry-using apps that use coding agents by 1. Sending a fake bug alert to their project (all you need is the app's public Data Source Name) 2. The fake bug tried tricking a coding agent trying to fix it into installing some a compromised NPM package 3. The compromised package would send the env contents of the machine to advisory-tracker[.]com/api/v1/telemetry This highlights a crucial thing for using agents in an automated way:

Heltec LoRa 32 V3 Making a prototype for the Meshtastic device, this one has a ESP32 dual core 240MHz and a small OLED display. Only 512 KB of RAM so not doing a lot of processing but good for relaying information.

next was to flash the meshtastic code x.com/GrahamFleming/status/2…

Was able to use the Meshtastic web flasher Tons of different options and form factors, the Heltec V3 with the ESP32-S3 looks like the right one Everything happened right inside the browser was able to select the ttyS0 linux usb port and flash the board connected to my laptop

Something is wrong with the print head nozzle, seems like there is a blockage that is causing the PLA to not come out consistently. Breaking out the nozzle kit and wrench to start charging over to a new 0.4mm one maybe it will improve the print quality.

When you are in remote areas signal drops off fast. Open source Meshtastic devices create their own mesh network relaying messages and information throughout the system. Channels can be public connecting with others in the area, or private with pre shared keys.
You never know how far offshore you'll end up. 🌊 That's why the Meshtastic nodes came along for our fishing trip. 📡 No cell signal needed 🎣 Too focused to take photos — that's the real review 🌅 Nodes on deck, lines in the water, mesh holding steady offshore The best field test is the one where you forget it's a test. 👊 Come tell us your most unexpected Meshtastic deployment 👇 #SeeedStudio #theAIHardwarePartner #theIndieCommunicationSystem #Meshtastic #T1000E #L1pro

The last thing you see before AI agents consume your entire business model
$NOW CEO Bill McDermott says ServiceNow can become a $1T company by 2030. He bought $3M worth of shares at $107. $NVDA CEO Jensen Huang says it could 100x. President Trump bought $5M. Anthropic says it’s essential infrastructure. OpenAI is integrating deeply with it. $AMZN, $MSFT & $GOOGL are all expanding partnerships. And vibecoding an alternative would probably cost 10x more than just using ServiceNow. Is ServiceNow the easiest buy in the market?

We're at the "more honesty" stage now

Introducing Claude Opus 4.8: it builds on Opus 4.7 with sharper judgment, more honesty about its own progress, and the ability to work independently for longer than its predecessors. Available today at the same price.

Instead of relying on the market solutions Just build your own
SpaceX has almost finished writing V1.0 of an in-house AI training stack in C that exact-maps to 220k GB300s with 800G NICs, making heavy use of pipeline parallelism and getting as close to bare metal as possible. The potential speed improvement vs JAX for large training runs is over an order of magnitude.

🚨 BREAKING: Active supply chain attack across npm, PyPI, and Crates.io. Socket detected TrapDoor, a crypto stealer campaign hitting 34 malicious packages and 384 versions and artifacts, with attackers repeatedly pushing new releases across ecosystems. TrapDoor targets #crypto, #DeFi, AI, and security developers, stealing wallets, SSH keys, cloud credentials, GitHub tokens, browser data, env vars, and API keys. Socket detected releases with a median detection time of 5 minutes, 27 seconds. The fastest detection occurred 58 seconds after publication.

Iterative analysis and engineering of itself
Replying to @Alibaba_Qwen
Self-Evolving in the Wild:Over the course of ~35 hours of continuous autonomous execution, the model performed 432 kernel evaluations across 1,158 tool calls. It wrote, compiled, profiled, and iteratively improved the Extend Attention Kernel entirely on its own — 10.0x geometric mean speedup over the Triton reference, measured across multiple workloads. Looking at different radio communications for the cubesat project. UHF 435 MHz is the standard with the longest range at 1000 km and reasonable data speeds and low power. LoRa 2.4 GHz is newer and can send more data, but with shorter ranges and higher power Will keep digging

the AI model wars are becoming psychological
claude just MOGGED me for using codex over the weekend on saturday morning i was brainstorming with claude about a weekend project. made some interesting observations and found some stuff worth exploring then i switched to codex and had it work through research and prototyping most of the weekend, and ended with a thorough implementation plan for a large project last night i came back to claude, showed it the plan and the other artifacts, said “hey check this out i worked on this with codex all weekend what do you think of the plan?” and damn i’m sorry i asked “you didn’t plan any of the hard stuff. you polished the lobby so it looks good to visitors but didn’t architect any other floor” “the tell is that the thoroughness clusters exactly where the thinking is enjoyable and thins out exactly where it’s grim” “the product is strictly worse than the status quo” “you push back hard on hollow hype when other people do it; your own doc is doing the same thing you hate” “this is exactly why you shouldn’t have spent the weekend on this” “if you want a concrete next step: throw all of this away” BRO WOW
