Supporters of the @NewCollegeofFL takeover cite the school's trajectory towards failure under the old model. And yet, despite millions more dollars, the school is getting worse. I'd rather fail while trying to do the right thing. heraldtribune.com/story/opin…

I subscribed to @404mediaco today because their reporting is so excellent. If you are a privacy or security expert, it's a mistake to miss their coverage. You should take a look.

First, make something up and then demand that other people prove that nothing like it ever happened. Then, if there is no evidence of your thing, assert that it must be a cover up. Do whatever you can to muddy the waters.

The best thing is, now you get to debate the sufficiency of evidence, rather than admit that your credulous old man believes whatever he sees on the Internet. Such an obvious tactic, but people keep falling for it because we forget that they aren't interested in what happened.

We're in the 9th Circuit today, arguing on behalf of Muslim Americans challenging unconstitutional religious questioning by CBP. Border officers target Muslims returning home for irrelevant and intrusive questions like "Do you pray every day?" More here: aclu.org/cases/kariye-v-mayo…

I want to know the truth. Conservatives must be careful with the facts, and not let the narrative go beyond the evidence. Right now, the assumption is that this did not occur. But, if evidence emerges, it's in the public interest to bring it forward.

"I like this baseless fantasy this man made up, why are you all assuming it's wrong? Let's pay someone to come up with something/anything so we switch from the embarrassing "hallucination" to "experts disagree over the (paid for post hoc) 'evidence '".

Fuck Dick Cheney. But the thing is, no one who was going to vote for Harris is going to change their minds because she's happy that Cheney is endorsing her. But also, fuck Dick Cheney.

Crime, at an all time low, is unacceptable, committed by brown immigrants, and Harris' fault. Children murdered by white families with assault rifles is a fact of life.

Let's see Vance and Trump step out from behind their bulletproof glass and leave behind the cadres of men and women trained to die to protect them, and then tell us how complacent they are.

I am watching the @NewCollegeofFL "Town Hall" for alums. They haven't answered a single question from alums. And they disabled the chat. They are going on patting themselves on the back for having allowed two people with different points of view to discuss something on stage.

When you abolish gender studies and close down DEI initiatives and support, inviting someone from Harvard to talk for an hour about "critical race theory" doesn't count as academic freedom.
