EXCLUSIVE: Since last year, Gavin Newsom has "fast-tracked" nearly 100,000 acres of land for fire-management work. But we have obtained internal documents showing that his administration has only completed projects on 798 acres—less than 1 percent. city-journal.org/article/cal…

the spacex ipo irks libs because they think meritocracy is a lib thing and it turns out meritocracy doesn’t actually exist and the closest thing thing to actual meritocracy is capitalism and they’re bad at it because it rewards risk-taking not credentialism

The freakout by those on the Left subsidized by taxpayer funds over OMB’s update of the regulation governing federal grant making tells you how important it is to keep the bureaucracies from leaking out spending that is woke, wasteful, and contra to the policies of the Trump Administration thru the NGOs. afj.org/article/federal-fund…

The U.S. government just unveiled the majestic Greco-Deco design for the new federal courthouse in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The building is at once monumental and welcoming, classical and original. The iris capitals are an inspired touch, drawing on Tennessee’s natural beauty and weaving it into the stone of a federal building. The Chattanooga courthouse is precisely the kind of building that President Trump’s Executive Order on federal architecture—“Making Federal Buildings Beautiful Again”—was designed to produce. When the courthouse is completed, it will stand as the living proof that the Order represents wise and humane public policy—something all Americans, regardless of political party, can and should support. Beautiful public buildings are not a partisan matter; they belong to everyone.

Hondos run San Francisco.
We submitted a FOIA asking the San Francisco Police Department how many illegal migrants from Honduras have been arrested for dealing fentanyl. They sent us hundreds of pages of documents that look like this. They don't want the public to know what is happening in their city.

NEW: The Mellon Foundation gave $1.5 million to establish a "center for the defense of academic freedom." In audio I've obtained, the group's leader says his goal is to undermine the newly launched classical civics centers: "map who these f---ers are... and knock them out." 🧵

The street drug market is 95% controlled by the Honduran drug dealers in San Francisco and funded by the Sinaloa Cartel. This is common knowledge in the city.

Scratch the surface of anything that looks like this in the field of wildlife, natural resources, and land management and you’ll find two big problems. First, the climate craze made it so that activist loyalty statements and ideology (eg “environmental racism”) took precedence over field fundamentals, or what Aldo Leopold noted are the foundations of natural resource management in America- axe, plow, cow, and gun. Land/wildlife under intensive human use requires active management, this is a truth we’ve long known but forgot in recent years. Second, the libs are really good at rewarding friends and punishing enemies. Why would they hire a bunch of guys to run forestry machinery and drip torches when they can hire NGO creatures to write infinite equity reports?

Wrong. Your own employees told us that you have completed work on fewer than 1 percent of the 100,000 acres you promised to "fast-track" over the past year—and, of course, you tried to hide it from the public. We have the receipts.

What is @GavinNewsom doing to manage wildfire risk? @christopherrufo, @Shawn_Regan, and I found he's: -Not finishing his "fast-tracked" projects -Cutting wildfire prevention funding to <half of 2022 levels -Spending 75% of funds on compliance, such as state-mandated shamans👇

Nothing has changed! Gavin Newsom Broke His Promise About California's Fire Management Work Starting last year, the governor “fast-tracked” land, now totaling nearly 100,000 acres, for fire management. So far, state-approved groups have completed projects covering less than 1 percent. christopherrufo.com/p/gavin-…

Ridiculous if true. The survivors of the myriad horrendous policy decisions that led to the Palisades disaster STILL need justice, and this absolutely needs to be investigated.

A church in San Diego wanted to build a new building and they were told they had to have a Shaman come bless the land first. Under CEQA and AB 52, if a development project might disturb Native American cultural resources (burial sites, artifacts, sacred sites, etc.), the city must notify local tribes (mainly Kumeyaay tribes in San Diego) and consult with them. • Tribes can request a Native American monitor be present during grading and excavation. • Sometimes tribes ask for a cultural ceremony or blessing as part of mitigation, and developers often agree to it voluntarily to stay on good terms and avoid delays.

California has a requirement for Native American shamans to oversee many of the "controlled burns" that are desperately needed to prevent wildfires. Gabriel Mann, a Choctaw Indian, says this requirement is insane. @Hotshot_Movie
