Today I received notice from Council that I've been appointed to serve on the Police Advisory Board for the Municipality of Colchester in NS. The Mass Casualty Commission has been calling for stronger and more independent Police Boards and I look forward to contributing.

The Victoria Day fireworks at Ashbridges Bay seem very far away. Usually I'd be working with 55 Division at the beach, helping to manage the crowds until late into the night. Now I'm listening to the frogs peep. While this is infinitely better, I miss being part of it all.
