Just got back from a short camping trip. Saw one other @cybertruck on the freeway near home, but then saw 4 more in the mountains. I think they’re all hiding up in the hills!

If this isn't an ad for @Starlink, I don't know what is! 😂

If you're so inclined, you can use this link to get a free month of service (and I'll get a month too) - starlink.com/residential?ref…

I don’t know exactly when it happened, but I just noticed you can finally delete chats from Codex. Whoever added this @OpenAIDevs, thank you SO much!!

There should be a $1000 fine and a mandatory court appearance for every idiot that takes their huge carry-on down the evacuation slide.
Replying to @Turbinetraveler
What a horrible reason to have to use the slide

My Cybertruck on FSD (14.2.2.5) backed into my garage like a boss today, and stopped right about 10 inches away from where I would have stopped. The side mirror just cleared the side of the entrance by about 2 inches - not sure if it was lucky or good!

Really great charge at @ionnaofficial in Fruita, CO. Rolled in with my Cybertruck at 10%, peak charge rate 386kW. By the time I had lunch and cleaned my windshield, I had over 75% which was way more than I needed! 😂 This is a great location - lots of restaurants within walking distance. 10/10 will charge again!

Cybertruck. There are many like it, but this one is mine. 😍📐

By far the worst thing about @IMSA is the ridiculous full course yellow procedures. A 20 minute yellow to clear a piece of debris is silly. WEC handles cautions much better, IMO.

I'm using GoatCounter for lightweight analytics on my web site...and I built a Mac menu bar app to show the last 24 hours of page views. rassoc.com/gregr/weblog/2026…

This is a great article - it’s long, but well worth the read!

JUNE 2028. The S&P is down 38% from its highs. Unemployment just printed 10.2%. Private credit is unraveling. Prime mortgages are cracking. AI didn’t disappoint. It exceeded every expectation. What happened? citriniresearch.com/p/2028gi…

This is a cool idea! Love it.
A weekend project that took more weeks than I expected, but I am very happy with the result. MICROTERM lets you run a real Linux VM inside any browser. Yes, even as an iOS Safari. Yes, it can run Codex and everything else, if you have patience.

Codex is so good. It just one-shotted a server to bridge a non-homekit accessory into HomeKit. I wasn't even sure it was possible to do it...but not only was it indeed possible, it worked on the first try. 🚀 @OpenAIDevs

Love that the default response to difficult requests has gone from “not on our roadmap” to “lemme see…” 🚀😀
might as well try it, idk

This is gross. And their response - "we'll [...] stop reaching out to the core contributors" - isn't any better.

This is a great post! Funny thing is, if the AI _did_ one-shot this migration, and then I saw it run in 4 seconds, I probably would have assumed it couldn't possibly have worked and just git checkout -- . to delete it. 😂

I notice when running shell commands inside the new codex app (e.g. !pwd), it goes to "thinking" and seems to take a few beats before replying. Seems like it's involving the LLM somehow. Whereas these commands are almost instant in the CLI. Seems odd... @OpenAIDevs

Dusted off my blog, which has passed its 23rd birthday! Migrated to Jekyll, with Chirpy, hosted (for now) on GitHub Pages. rassoc.com/gregr/weblog/2026…
