We've finished building capacity at all 172 apex #health facilities in the LGAs w/ highest rates of zero-dose kids in Kano State #NGA! Visited all 15 LGAs, reviewed/revised maps microplans for 172 health facilities, trained 841. Also gathered participant feedback from some HFs.

We returned to 5 #Kano #NGA health facilities where trainings took place earlier this year. Got feedback saw how microplan revisions went/how service delivery changed. The best measure of capacity building isn't what happens in training rooms–it's what happens after we leave.

In April, we supported #polio #vaxx in the entire Kasongo antenna in Maniema Province as a part of #DRC’s National Vaccination Days event. Coordinated by @Pev_rdcongo, we trained 340 staff to track 1,430 vaccinators. First time we've supported vaxx efforts in an entire antenna.

In advance of a #DRC #malaria bednet distribution campaign, we coordinated a workshop for #data collection validation in Kwilu Ngongo health zone, Kongo-Central. W/ PNLP and @SANRU_asbl, we trained 13 health workers collected data that enabled production of 21 detailed maps.

We've been racking up mileage in the 9 health zones of #DRC’s Maniema Province! In support of the #polio #vaxx campaign, our 22 technical supervisors have traveled 7,520km to train stakeholders how to use Vaccine Buddy/GTS, provide feedback on progress conduct field visits.

We helped lead a 4-day @NMEPNigeria workshop for an upcoming integrated ITN/SMC distribution effort in Adamawa State! We distributed 229 ward #maps 21 LGA maps, field tested a new automated catchment creation process, and held a stakeholder group discussion around the process.

We contributed to a new article in Vaccines! It discusses how #DRC’s EPI, GRID3, and partners used spatial #data to identify and reach under-vaccinated and zero-dose children. This effort vaccinated at least 40K in that population. Read here: bit.ly/4azMNbK

We recently provided support to the EPI's rapid #polio response in Maniema Province, #DRC. We provided 268 #vaccination area maps, 2 health zone maps, and 30 health area maps trained 76 staff on how to use Novel-T’s Geospatial Tracking System and GEOPH’s Vaccine Buddy tools.

In Kano #NGA we've led workshops to validate core spatial data for microplans that are used in #vaxx campaigns for zero-dose children. 1K participated 19,880 settlements/621 health facilities were validated. 2nd phase of the project is underway focuses on capacity building.

We have officially wrapped the @gavi Equity Accelerator Fund project in #DRC. We worked with many partners to bridge #data gaps and empower local #health officials w/ the tools they need to reach every child. We'll use the data to continue supporting health efforts across DRC.
