3 Doors Down have announced the passing of their founder, lead singer, and songwriter Brad Arnold, who died peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, February 7, at the age of 47 following a battle with cancer.
Arnold was a founding member and a defining voice of early 2000s mainstream rock, best known for writing the bandβs breakthrough hit βKryptoniteβ at just 15 years old. His songwriting helped shape a generation, blending emotional honesty with radio-defining rock anthems.
He is survived by his wife Jennifer and family. The band and family have asked for privacy during this difficult time.
