Developer Support was pretty easy when half the questions were prompted by bugs in code copied from Think Reference. Copying dynamically generated buggy code will waste far more time.

Almost all the examples in the GitHub Copilot page contain subtle bugs. copilot.github.com/ Here are examples from the Python scripts. I don't read Ruby, Javascript, or Go, so I'd love to hear from experts in those languages. 1/n

Cliff Mass picks a straw man argument (“how much did global warming affect today’s temperature?”) so he can ignore climate change’s impact on the likelihood of extreme weather events.

UW's Cliff Mass with bad analysis: “Roughly about 1-2°F over the past 50 years has been warming due to human emission of CO₂. So if there is a heat wave with temps 20° above normal, 18° of that warming is probably natural and perhaps 2° due to human-induced warming.”

I'm in tears by the loss to glioblastoma on January 7 of my old colleague @mrmachinetool. Mike Morton was a fun, smart, and uniquely weird guy, and most importantly a mensch. Everyone should have a problem solver and friend of his caliber in their lives.

One of the best ads of this or any election cycle! More scientists please!
It’s time to reject “I’m not a scientist” as an excuse for inaction. It’s time to send an actual scientist to the U.S. Senate. If you’re ready to put #ScienceInTheSenate, join me today at bendavid2020.com.

Climate change has loaded the dice. Cliff Mass is the scientist telling us that the physics of rolling dice is far too complex to blame any outcome on such small weight perturbations.

Campaigns should give a car magnet to every one of their supporters.

For a decade, Netflix DVDs have consistently taken a day or two to arrive in the mail. Until this month. Now they're taking 5 days or longer to get to my house. @DVDNetflix @USPSHelp #USPS
