Check out the latest edition of Cotton Farmer magazine. Highlighting the experience of Dr. Ron Smith and a great hire of Dr. Scott Graham at Alabama Extension and Arkansas’ Dr. Gus Lorenz. Looks like an issue to frame.

Thank you everyone for all the nice comments regarding my retirement. But most of all I’m thankful for all of your support and friendship all these years. I tried my best to support our farmers and the Ag industry of AR. I’m retiring but hope to see you around! Stay in touch!

If your bollworms in soybeans disappeared, this may be the reason. Entomopathogenic fungus, Nomuraea rileyi. Before you spray examine the worms. Loopers also seen with fungus and virus. @thrashnbugs @NickBateman

Bollworms trying hard to feed on 3 gene cotton. This is Phytogen 400. Under intense pressure a little bit of damage but not enough to warrant foliar spray. The 3 gene cotton holding up for now!
