He loves to talk about freedom, but the second a city (or state) leans too progressive, he uses every lever of power at his disposal to compromise the democratic process, for which he clearly has no respect. Behavior like this makes it clear that under Trump, votes only matter if they engender the result he wants. If not, he’ll claim the election is rigged, or failing that, find a way to punish the victor. Again, Trump is showing that he is at heart un-American, which it need not be said is completely unacceptable. But the tide is turning, and the midterms will hobble his malevolent administration until the 2028 elections finally rid us of Trumpism from sea to shining sea.
