#Kenya, supported by IOM Kenya and World Vision Kenya. This wasnโt just about
#ClimateAction, it was about transforming lives.
In Dolaal, GubaKibir and Alikune, over ๐ญ,๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐ต๐ผ๐๐๐ฒ๐ต๐ผ๐น๐ฑ๐faced energy poverty and environmental challenges. We turned a problem into a solution by repurposing the invasive Prosopis species into
#๐๐ฐ๐ผ๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฑ๐น๐๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐พ๐๐ฒ๐๐๐ฒ๐.
Through our training, ๐ญ๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐๐ผ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐ผ๐๐๐ตgained skills to create smokeless
#Briquettes that burn longer, reduce forest dependence, and create
#GreenJobs.
For Fatuma, a young mother in Dolaal, the training was life-changing. โI never imagined that invasive wood could fuel both my stove and my livelihood,โ she shared. Today, sheโs one of many women leading
#ClimateResilience efforts.
To ensure long-term impact, we installed a Briquette Production unit in GarissaTownship, managed by local
#YouthEmpowerment and
#WomenLeaders. Over ๐ญ,๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐ฏ๐ฎ๐ด๐have been distributed, providing families with
#CleanEnergy and reducing environmental damage.
This is proof that
#Sustainability can empower communities and protect the planet.
