Let us hope & pray for Johnson & Johnson and Sanofi, the 2 giant pharmas that are into development of a COVID vaccine, that their clinical tests shall be successful, and the Ade26 vaccine can be mass produced and distributed to all affected countries as fast as they can.

The cost of the R&D is $US1 billion to be shared by the US govt and Johnson&Johnson. 300 million doses of the vaccine shall initially be made available, bit the distribution mechanism is not yet clear. The side effects of Ade26 vector is the common cold.

Johnson & Johnson has just announced that have developed a vaccine for the #coronavirus. They call it Adenovirus vector (Ade26) which was effective against the Zika virus. Phase I shall be clinical testing on animals in Sept. and Phase 2 shall be on humans in COVID hot spots.
