This program is unauthorized, unapproved, and not legitimate.
To clarify, the Nigeria Police Force has not endorsed, approved, or authorized this program in any form.
The name “AFRIPOL” refers to the African Union Mechanism for Police Cooperation, an official continental body established by the African Union. Unauthorized use of this name is misleading.
Such misuse undermines a respected international institution.
We advise all Nigerians and organizations not to engage with, sponsor, or make any payments related to this event.

NIGERIA POLICE FORCE DISCLAIMS UNAUTHORIZED “AFRIPOL 2026” PROGRAMME
The Nigeria Police Force wishes to state categorically that it did not approve, endorse, or authorize the purported “AFRIPOL 2026” programme currently being circulated online.
The Force also condemns the unauthorized use of the name “AFRIPOL”, which is globally recognized as the African Union Mechanism for Police Cooperation (AFRIPOL), an official continental policing structure established under the African Union framework, and not a platform for private or unauthorized programmes.
Furthermore, the leadership of the Nigeria Police Force did not authorize the use of the image of the Inspector-General of Police, the official logo, or the identity of the Force in connection with the said programme.
Members of the public and corporate organizations are advised to disregard the publication and refrain from any form of sponsorship, payment, or engagement relating to the said event.
