As I sit and ponder before Futures open I want to thank @GeraldW08333657 for taking me under his wings many years ago in StockTwits trading $AMRH and Google partnership hype. Gerald is a genius and can make money in any market condition. Then I met @smartertrader and he is a genius on a different level and all news and premium driven trades. Sam has proved himself so many times and even if the market turns to shit we bank enough to cover call positions and still put money in our pockets. Sam’s strategy is unlike anything you will ever see in your lifetime. So I suggest you join while Sam still enjoys it because he makes so much he doesn’t have to provide any service. He helps others out of kindness and paying his knowledge forward. And we members appreciate every day he shares his knowledge. There is no one that even comes close to Sam’s numbers I’m forever thankful for knowledge from the 2 best traders known

Advancing the @_AfricanUnion Health Agenda Strategy towards Universal Health Coverage and Sustainable Development Goals On the margins of the official handover of the African Medicines Regulatory Harmonization (AMRH) and the @_AfricanUnion Smart Safety Surveillance (AU-3S) Programmes from @NEPAD_Agency to the @AU_AMA_ in Jan 2026, the leadership of the relevant AU organs and specialized agencies resolved to engage on a regular basis to deepen and advance collaborations and synergies, review and monitor jointly implemented activities towards actualization of Agenda 2063 health-related deliverables. This week, in Nairobi, Kenya the technical teams of the @_AfricanUnion Commission-Dept of Health, Humanitarian Affairs and Social Development, @AfricaCDC , @AfCFTA and @AU_AMA_ is meeting to discuss, advance and sustain continental initiatives around: - Joint planning and coordination of priority interventions of cross-cutting nature in 2026 and beyond - Strengthening coordinated response capabilities to outbreaks and pandemics - Advancing Universal Health Coverage including access to quality health services - Strengthening health supply chains; investments and financing, and harmonization Overarching Objective: To ensure sustained coordinated and concerted efforts of all relevant AU institutions and other entities including partners in the discharge of institutional mandates and responsibilities and cross-cutting interventions geared towards a stronger and resilient health system in Africa. The African Union Health Ecosystem Coordination (AU-HEC) meeting aims to reduce the heavy burden of disease and improve health outcomes by fostering collaboration, innovation, financing, and self-reliance in health. This 3rd meeting officially welcomes the AMA as a specialized agency responsible for continental harmonization and regulation of medical products. The meeting aims to secure a common institutional understanding of how AU health actors will coordinate more effectively around shared continental priorities, while respecting existing mandates and comparative advantages. Furthermore, the meeting will help strengthen structured, sustained, and action-oriented coordination among AU institutions and partners for improved planning, implementation support, policy coherence, and collective impact in Africa's health sector working closely with member states. #Agenda2063 @giz_gmbh @jica_direct_en @Enabel_Belgium @KfW_FZ_int @wellcometrust

A New Chapter for African Health: The AMA Transition is Underway! In Lusaka, Zambia, a truly momentous occasion is unfolding that marks a decisive step forward for a healthy, prosperous Africa. This week, the @_AfricanUnion is witnessing a historic handover: the transition of two foundational health security programs from our beloved organisation to the @AU_AMA_. For 17 years, we have meticulously built the continental regulatory framework. This legacy includes the African Medicines Regulatory Harmonization (AMRH), launched in 2009, and the African Union Smart Safety Surveillance (AU-3S), launched in 2020. These programs have been the bedrock, safeguarding public health and ensuring access to quality medical products across the continent. This two-day high level and technical joint session (Jan 22-23, 2026) is not a single event, but a structured process designed to ensure a “smooth, seamless and non-disruptive” transfer. As our CEO, H.E. @nardosbthomas, emphasized, this transition “underscores our mandate… to ensure that AMA is fully capacitated to effectively discharge its continental regulatory responsibilities.” This milestone reinforces Africa’s medicines regulatory capacity, transforming the continent’s ability to ensure access to quality, safe, and effective medical products. It is a powerful testament to the African Union’s dedication to building specialized continental institutions, moving forward as “one family under the African Union” to realize the goals of the Decade of Acceleration under Agenda 2063. #Agenda2063 #AfricanHealth #AMA #AUDA_NEPAD #PublicHealth #AfricaRising #Agenda2063 #TheAfricaWeWant @SymerreGrey @WHO @WorldBank @DFID_UK @giz_gmbh @Enabel_Belgium @CEPIvaccines @wellcometrust @gatesfoundation @AfDB_Group @giz_gmbh @afreximbank @EU_Commission @mimi_darko @AU_HHS @RwandaGov

Our team is deep in strategic mode. Ideas on the table. Notes on the walls. Real conversations underway as we align the financial, legal, technical, digital, and operational pieces ahead of the joint formal handover of the #AMRH and #AU3S Programmes to the African Medicines Agency @AU_AMA, set for 22–23 January 2026. This is what institution-building looks like in practice. Taking strong, proven regulatory programmes and using them as the foundation for a new continental body that must work, from day one, for Africans. As we build #AMA, we are reinforcing transparency, accountability, and the responsibility that comes with maximising the trust and support of our development partners. Step by step, this is how impact is delivered. Quietly, deliberately, and with purpose. Together, we are shaping the #AfricaWeWant and laying down a sustainable development path for the continent. @nardosbthomas @SymerreGrey @WHO @WorldBank @DFID_UK @giz_gmbh @Enabel_Belgium @CEPIvaccines @_AfricanUnion @wellcometrust @gatesfoundation @AfDB_Group @afreximbank @EU_Commission

In 2026 we continue to drive transformational continental development, with health as a key pillar in the realisation of Agenda 2063. Today in Lusaka, Zambia, our technical team is preparing for the formal handover of the African Medicines Regulatory Harmonization (AMRH) and African Union Smart Safety Surveillance (AU-3S) programmes to the African Medicines Agency (AMA), reinforcing Africa’s medicines regulatory capacity and strengthening public health systems. This milestone underscores our mandate as the @_AfricanUnion’s premier continental development agency to ensure that AMA is fully capacitated to effectively discharge its continental regulatory responsibilities. AMA is anchored in the strong legacy of our flagship health programmes; AMRH, launched in 2009; and AU-3S, launched in 2020. In this context, our team is in Lusaka to prepare for the Joint Formal Handover Session of the AMRH and AU-3S programmes to AMA, scheduled for 22–23 January 2026. The session will be convened with the participation of leadership from the Chairperson of the @_AfricanUnion, the Commissioner for Health, @AU_HHS , our CEO, @nardosbthomas, the DG of @AfricaCDC, @Dr_JeanKaseya, the DG of @AU_AMA @mimi_darko, and the @RwandaGov as the AMA Host Country. This accelerated transition and handover build on our decades of experience in establishing and sustaining continental institutions, including the @APRMorg, Smart Africa, @nepadsanbio, @acerwc and many others. We remain committed to handover of regulatory assets, systems, processes and resources, enabling AMA to fully execute its mandate and statutory functions across the continent. In line with its role as the African Union’s delivery arm for Agenda 2063 and STYIP, we will continue to build and sustain strategic, specialised continental institutions that advance Africa’s long-term development objectives working with its strategic partners. #Agenda2063 #TheAfricaWeWant @SymerreGrey @WHO @WorldBank @DFID_UK @giz_gmbh @Enabel_Belgium @CEPIvaccines @wellcometrust @gatesfoundation @AfDB_Group @afreximbank @EU_Commission

In a robust panel discussion with CNN’s Larry Madowo, our CEO, Mrs. @nardosbthomas, engaged in a compelling dialogue on AUDA-NEPAD’s role within the #G20 as part of the African Union. She highlighted transformative initiatives the agency is driving to help Africa rise, making tangible impact step by step. While progress takes time, the critical achievement is that meaningful change is underway. She discussed the African Medicines Regulation Harmonisation Programme #AMRH and the Skills Initiative for Africa #SIFA, before fielding questions from the audience on industrialisation and agriculture. She emphasised the urgent need to understand our own soil composition, invest in irrigation infrastructure and comprehensive soil mapping, scrutinize the impact of imported fertilizers on soil health, and implement technical training programmes that equip young people with the knowledge to run successful agribusinesses. Through the Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Programme #CAADP, AUDA-NEPAD has transformed agricultural deficiencies into opportunities. The continent now has a robust plan to drive agriculture forward, enabling Africans to grow their own food, achieve food security, and feed themselves.
