Shri C.S. Reddy, Founder & CEO, Mahila Abhivruddhi Society (APMAS/TMAS), Hyderabad, along with others, met the Hon’ble Governor of Telangana, Shri Shiv Pratap Shukla at Lok Bhavan, Hyderabad, today.

Frankly, this is such a fun, community-led event and a lot of people miss the official apmas, labels should jump in on it. You guys somehow ended up on my tl and I have been entertained since.

I understand plenty. I understand the accounting behind them. I've DONE the accounting for it. To call it transferring money from one pocket to another for a fund like $SCHD is a gross misunderstanding of how it works. I'd argue for a APMA, it's borderline professional negligence. If you looked at how $SCHD works and understood the accounting of it, you'd understand that its much more than that. I'm sure you call it this because it's paid from a company's equity accounts. The big piece you're missing for a quality fund like $SCHD is that it isn't handing out dividends that are from capital accounts. The dividends it's distributing is from it's holdings dividends which are from its retained earnings, net income, or cash flow. Is that transferring money from one pocket to another? Not even close. It's more similar to putting your money in a HYSA. It's earned money being distributed. For these "new-gen" high-yield funds that use options and such, sure, your analogy works. Now, could this capital be reinvested into the company to make more money and grow faster. Sure. Is it the most tax efficent? Probably not. Your analogy shows a surface-level, beginner understanding that completely ignores the accounting behind it. This take is an insult to all other APMAs in the industry. No research, no understanding of the fundamentals in question. Your certification should be ripped from you so you can't damage the APMA any further.

Not pop and not all that poor. 😁 Both solo albums charted high on the alt rock charts (The Shadow Side was #1 on Billboard and The Ghost of Ohio was #7). Andy won Song of the Year at the APMAs for “We Don’t Have To Dance” and he actually made more money touring as a solo artist than he made touring with BVB. Additionally, he continued to play the main stage as a solo artist, at the very same rock music festivals that he did with BVB. So…not as bad as you thought it was. 😉

I’ve loved every minute of it! Black Veil Brides fans are just built different. It’s been that way since the beginning. Remember the year before the APMAs, they basically won every single category of the Alt Press Fan Voted Music Awards. That was insane! BVB fans did that!! 😂

still remember the APMAs show with coolio and tyler carter dressed as a mischievous bisexual purple-haired gnome. the two of them kinda ignored tyler his mic volume was pretty bad, may or may not have had to do with trying to make it less obvious that hes more vocally talented

In my opinion? CC is the best damn drummer to emerge from the 201O’s Warped Tour scene. One could argue that he’s the best hard rock and metal drummer to come out of the 2010’s. Period. However, as someone who attended every single WT and all 4 APMAs, I know that no drummer in tye Alt Press world of the 2010’s was better than him. The Destroyer is a percussion beast with a massive heart.
