Merry Christmas from ASL Honors Society! 🤟🏽🎄❤️ For the fourth year, ASLHS participated in the annual Blount County Christmas Parade, signing songs and spreading cheer for the community!

Today our ASLHS students spent the morning with the 3 &4 year old Deaf Ed class at OE. We read Turkey Trouble together and practiced signing all the animals. It was such a sweet, fun, and meaningful visit! So proud of them for sharing language, connection, and smiles today!

Today, 19 students were newly inducted into the American Sign Language Honor Society (ASLHS). We are proud to have a growing chapter on our campus, helping to facilitate further connection with those in our community and beyond who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. Nine current ASLHS seniors were also given special recognition for their time dedicated to learning ASL, and for using community hours within the local Deaf community or the wider Deaf World! #GoThunder #ASLHS #feedtheflame #sjacommunity
