MFNERC's #LanguageGathering opens today with a beautiful song sung by Clementine Keeper. In her opening remarks, Associate Executive Director Sharon McKay shares the #Cree word for fire - "Iskotew", which comes from the word "Iskweal Oteh", meaning "Woman's Heart".
