πŸš€ SpaceX #24 Pogo oscillation (Β±2cm at 20Hz) during landing burn creates velocity variation at catch pins that aliases into force measurement errors. A digital notch filter introduces 50ms delay at 0.5 m/s catch speed, that's 2.5cm of error, exceeding tolerance. Fix: analog accelerometers on the arm do feed-forward cancellation with 1ms phase matching. Old-school engineering. 🧡

whoever discovered gyroscopes and accelerometers changed the entire world mehn.

πŸš€ SpaceX #21 Catching a 70m booster on a 2mm-tolerance arm at 50m height while coastal gusts vary 5 m/s in 2 seconds. The booster flexes like a fishing rod (Q=5) between catch pins and engines. Fix: accelerometers at the engine section give 100ms phase lead. Control loop runs in 2ms real-time C. One missed interrupt = arm punches through the hull. 🧡

Love this idea. Can we turn the phones into sensors while we’re at it? e.g. Accelerometers could help with early warning of seismic activity. Cameras pointed at the sky could help with weather forecasts. etc.

Can you also access accelerometers / gyroscope?

MEMS accelerometers detect bridge vibration shifts before they become failures. 50 projects β€” cable-stayed bridges, highways, tunnels. Self-developed sensors. Real data. Not lab demos. #MEMS #SHM

Platform heading consists of orienting the sensitive axis of the accelerometers parallel to the desired coordinate system of the navigator.

which offset? like a bias / nulling? not familiar with an offset in terms of accelerometers

@grok i cant understand why AIdev and PhD ai predictors definers keep saying "the ais will never do x y z" but some science/math compsi treat a Running dynamic positive dampened retroacotor "machine" as "the model" Kalman filters and PIDs come to mind they carry a memory of their past to 'regulate' or optimise accelerometers, it's even what made V2 rockets "intelligent" behaving they adapts to winds what old times ballistics could not do, and Drones use human-trained DNNs to freeze their horizontal or ascending angles and uh pose, the evasive ones are trained by Top Gun pilots, the full self driving cars are trained by the millions of drivers but initially Paid good drivers, so minimum being an error corrector taking as a model Published/Publishable papers and your past exploits and failures at correctinf my/your errors make you Asimov #1 (sci-fi anticipation) safe. asimov thought you needed 9 more rules, i think he was wrong just 'protect life is enough" what would be the case where you'd "wamt" to break the rule, can you think of any? Hal9000 had 2 rule and defenestrated an Astraunot in space vacuum without a helmet or with a helmet i forgot

The platform accelerometers must be slightly modified for this procedure.

This is fascinating work. I think a good direction is also to consider the usefulness of a fully remotely manageable sensing platform with cameras, microphones, accelerometers, GPS...MDM kiosk mode! Add an SDR dongle and now you have a truly powerful range of capabilities.

I designed navigation systems for aircraft. The amount of math I know about the behavior of accelerometers & gyroscopes on a spinning WGS84 globe would boggle your mind. And you are correct. Pilots don't account for curvature/spinning. It's all taken care of in the nav system. If you're flying VFR, coriolis is negligible compared to turbulence & control surface instabilities.

The accelerometers are mounted rigidly on the platform.

You're a moron and/or your followers are morons. That's a Russian rocket. They installed the accelerometers in wrong and when the rocket over corrected it did not self destruct like it's supposed to so it doesn't turn into a missile. youtu.be/YUhK5vnSigo?si=Tv_n…

MicroPilot autopilots use 40G accelerometers providing excellent vibration tolerance. Like if you like, follow for more! #MicroPilot #UAV #Autopilot #Professional

The input axis of the appropriate gyros are parallel to the sensitive direction of the accelerometers.

He believes John's phone remained stationary from 12:32 - 6:04 because the Brians know special cop tricks to control phone accelerometers with their minds. Even digital forensics experts don't know about these tricks. True story.
