**TABLE READ** Theatre and Me will be hosting a final-look table read for our upcoming feature film, Grace. The session will be led by award-winning independent filmmaker Marcus A. Siler. Over the past 13 years, Mr. Siler’s films and documentaries have been screened at film festivals in multiple countries. -------------------- Storyline: Grace, a 17-year-old high school senior, is a gifted performer who believes her talent is a God-given calling—one nurtured and affirmed by her late father. Since his passing, Grace has held tightly to her faith and the promise he always reminded her of: that her gifts were meant to glorify God. However, her mother, still overwhelmed by grief and struggling in her own faith journey, fears that pursuing the stage will lead Grace down the same path that took her husband away. Allowing fear to overshadow trust, she resists Grace’s calling at every turn. As Grace seeks God’s guidance through prayer and quiet conviction, she is faced with a difficult choice: surrender her dream to ease her mother’s pain or step forward in faith, trusting that obedience to her calling will ultimately bring healing. In choosing courage over fear, will Grace discover that faith, forgiveness, and trust in God’s plan can restore what grief has broken, or will the consequences of her decision threaten to alter the course of both their lives? -------------------- When: Saturday, February 28, 2026 Where: Santa Clarita, Los Angeles County, California Time: 11:00 am - 3:00 pm NON-PAID Food and beverages will be provided. The purpose of this session is to workshop the material in a collaborative environment and engage with actors within the Los Angeles creative community.
