#FileMaker Admin API で FMCloud 上で実行時のみ利用可能な Update API を使って、GUI から データマイグレーションを実行できるWebアプリをWebDirectで実装してみたよ。 言葉がややこしいw FMCloud は SSH が使えないので、データマイグレーションを実行するとなると、商用のfmp12ファイルをローカルマシンにダウンロードして、マイグレーションを実行する必要があるんだけど... マイグレーション対象のfmp12ファイルが数BGとかだと、ダウンロードにも、マイグレーション後のアップロードにもめっちゃ時間がかかるし、結果的にバージョンアップ時のシステム停止時間がすごい長くなってしまう。 それを補うのが、AdminAPI の Updateメソッド。 help.claris.com/ja/admin-api… ざっくりとした仕組みとしては、HTTPリクエストのURLでマイグレーション対象のファイルを指定。 HTTPヘッダに、fmDataMigrationコマンドの引数を設定。 んで、リクエストボディに、クローンファイルをバイナリでセットしてPOSTする。 そうすると、FileMaker Cloud ( FMS ) 上で、fmDataMigrationコマンドが実行されるという建付け。 マイグレーションコマンドで、普段だとコンソールに出力されるログは、APIのレスポンスとして受け取れる。 上記の動きを、WebDirectで実装しましたです。 実際に、セキュア格納のオブジェクフィールドをもつfmp12フィアル... fmp12ファイルの大きさが約400MB。 セキュア格納部分が1.5BG程度のマイグレーションが、90秒ぐらいで完了する。 いやこれめっちゃ便利。 FileMaker Cloud で、ある程度の規模のシステムを動かすなら、このAPIを実行できるのは必須になると思う。 個人的には、FileMaker Cloud の AdminConsole に実装してほしいレベル。 あ、あとできれば、FileMaker Cloud のバックアップでも、クローンファイルの作成機能を実装してくださいませ。

今回のバージョンからAdminConsoleに実装されたログビューアページの「サイドバーを折りたたむ」ボタンはナイスアイデアなので、ぜひスケジュール設定ページにも同様の機能を実装してほしいとです。
