Bob you’re wrong, Hagler was a terrific puncher with 52 KO’s out of 63 wins.He stopped or KO’ed TommyHearns, JohnMugabi, MustafaHamsho, WilfordScypion, TonySibson, AlanMinter, CavemanLee and many more 🧨
Also Hagler only ever got one KD in his career against Roldan and that was dubious. Marvellous was the best of the 4 Kings at Middleweight. I wish he had gotten the same amount of recognition as Sugar Ray

I was very honoured to write this for #BoxingNews. #AlanMinter was the first boxer I ever met. He still carried the scars from the #MarvinHagler fight and I was in total awe.
He was a very, very nice man and I dearly hope that I have done him some kind of justice.

How come the UK media was all over the death of Dame Diana Rigg but there was barely a mention of the death of #AlanMinter at 69, yesterday. He was a class act and undisputed world middleweight champion

So sad to hear of the death of one of my heroes #AlanMinter. I first met him in 1979 when I was a 17-year-old wine waiter and was lucky enough to spend a memorable day with him in 2018. This is the article I wrote for #Boxing News on that day.

Very sad to hear about the death of #AlanMinter - a great boxer and a bloody decent man who I know from personal experience quietly generously supported a lot of kids at the grassroots level.
