.@PastorMark was right in what he said. It is unfortunate that Pastor @JohnLindell didn’t heed the rebuke! Pastor Lindell should apologize to Driscoll and all the men who attended the Stronger Men Conference for allowing the performance by @AlexMagala. It was inappropriate!!!

Ray Ortlund, in defending Driscoll’s repentance for faults in 2007, and 2015, said rather than question Driscoll’s repentances and progress, we should ask why we never see or hear public repentance from pastors and leaders. I read Driscoll’s letter to Mars Hill. Was epic.

Lindell isn't really sorry. He's also seemingly not owning his error in this scenario. Praying he owns and repents from his lack of judgment and slander of others and the mishandling of the entire situation. 🙏🏼

Agree wholeheartedly! 😢😞 A pastor of any kind ought to be the servant to the people... and I've never heard a servant applauded. Coming from a non-evangelical church perspective, it honestly turns my stomach. It's also part of why I left Driscoll's MH church 18 years ago.

The larger mistake Lindell made was inviting Driscoll. Why give Driscoll a platform? He should not be in ministry or leadership in any secular role. Companies don't invite Jeffrey Skilling (Enron) to teach on proper accounting principles.
