They've been in the playoffs like the last 4 years and back to back conference finals appearances lol. They sucked up until they got Brunson. Prior to that they had one good year in like 2012 or 2013.

PS - Google is THE monopoly in search and its CEO pays everyone (subsidizes Android) including Apple to stay that way. Will you give up Android, Chrome & Google search?

That said, you’re quite free to buy lower cost (iPhone 17e, Samsung A-series, Google Pixel “a” series) value or budget models or Chinese OEM’s imported & sold on Amazon, YOU don’t have to pay more if YOU don’t want to.
But you might get what you are paying for.

When iPhone was introduced, Nokia, Ericsson, Motorola, Samsung, Sony, LG, HTC, BlackBerry were competitors. Huawei & ZTE banned on Nat’l security. Xiaomi, OnePlus, Oppo/Vivo free to enter US market but face making US band & carrier models (not profitable), US patent issues.

iPads can use wired keyboards too without any modification apart from the usual USB-C to USB-A adapter/hub, nothing new there
And I’m pretty sure you didn’t know that
But compare that to an iPad Pro with a Magic Keyboard, I’ll take the latter, thank you
