Know the Exam 13th June 2026 PDF t.me/srijanindiaone UPSC CSE Main GS3 Framework - Many aspirants treat GS-3 as a current affairs paper. It is not. GS-3 is actually a framework paper where current affairs are used as examples. Framework Current Affairs Diagram Example Data = Topper Answer Look at any GS-3 question. You will usually need: 1. Economic Dimension 2. Environmental Dimension 3. Social Dimension 4. Security Dimension 5. Technological Dimension 6. Governance Dimension Add 4–5 dimensions and your answer automatically becomes multidimensional. Remember, 1. GS-3 rewards structure more than information. 2. Current affairs are examples; static concepts are the foundation. 3. Use data to support arguments, not replace analysis. 4. A simple flowchart often explains more than a paragraph. 5. UPSC values multidimensional thinking over technical expertise. 6. The best introductions are simple, relevant and issue-focused. 7. The best conclusions are optimistic, balanced and future-oriented. 8. Never write a challenge without suggesting a reform. 9. One good example is worth more than five generic statements. 10. Link local issues to national development goals. Every GS-3 answer should answer 'Why, What, Challenges and Way Forward'. The examiner rewards clarity more than complexity. #UPSC #CSE #Prelims #Mains #CivilServices #upsc #srijanindiaone #GS3 #answerwriting #ias
