Haha yes. I noticed that recently. But if you think about it, $UBER is unfortunately partnered with ALL the AV companies at this point minus Tesla so they literally can’t avoid it whenever the topic AV outages/accidents pop up. Wuhan outage is apollogo which is a partner too and SF is waymo.

Hız şeritlerinde. Baidu'nun Apollo Go sistemi o gece çöktü. Bulut tabanlı sevk merkezi arıza verdi. "Güvenli duraklama" mekanizması devreye girdi. Ama o araçların durduğu hız şeritlerinde "güvenli" kelimesi anlamsız kaldı. En az 3 çarpışma yaşandı. Yaralanan olmadı ama haber büyük heyecan yarattı çünkü sadece araçlar değil, yapay zeka ile her şe “otonom ve elektrikli” hale dönüşüyor. Özellikle de Çin’de… Problem sadece Wuhan’da da yaşanmadı. Pekin ve Şenzen'de de araçlar dondu. - Toplam etkilenen filo: yaklaşık 1.200 araç. - Sistem felci yaklaşık 3 saat sürdü. - Baidu'nun Hong Kong borsasındaki hisseleri %6,2 geriledi. Baidu ne dedi? "Backend teknik arıza." Wuhan trafik polisi ne dedi? "Sistem arızası." Resmi açıklama? Gelmedi. Aslında esas mesele kaza sayısı değil. Mimari. İnsan hata yaptığında, bir araç durur. Sistem çöktüğünde ise yüzlercesi ve birdenbire, aynı anda, aynı sokakta, aynı köprüde kalıyor. Çin, otonom araç konusunda dünyanın en agresif ülkesi. Wuhan gerçek bir test alanı. Bu tür arızalar orada "kaza" değil, "veri" sayılıyor. Her şeyi otonomlaştırırken görüyoruz ki merkezi kontrol mimarisi hem en büyük güç hem de en büyük kırılganlık. O yüzden altyapı güvenilirliği, filo büyümesiyle aynı hızda mı ilerliyor konusu çok kritik. Tek bir bulut arızasının her şeyi durdurabileceği bir dünyada, "sistem güvenilirliği" artık varoluş konusu. The setup is what matters. 🔹Pony builds the self driving tech 🔹Verne runs the fleet (owns and maintains) 🔹Uber owns the supply-demand marketplace Uber sits in the middle of every ride to handle the orchestration of supply and demand. That’s been the strategy for a while. They don’t need to win autonomy. They need to be where autonomy shows up. Every AV company needs demand. Uber already has it at scale and a decade plus of data for optimal routing. So whoever actually cracks self driving ends up plugging into Uber’s network.
