What an inspiring and successful public lecture! A huge thank you to Clare Burgess and Francois Krige for sharing their remarkable knowledge, experience, and passion for trees, urban forests, and sustainable landscapes. From landscape architecture and resilient public spaces to arboriculture, ecological restoration, and the vital role trees play in our cities and rural environments, the evening was a powerful reminder of how deeply connected we are to the natural world around us. Their insights not only celebrated the beauty and value of trees but also highlighted the importance of protecting and nurturing our urban forest for future generations, paving the way for the upcoming “Tree Talk seminar” on the 8th - 9th of September, during Arbor Month.
