To honor this gift, we return to an ancient tradition: building an Acorn Granary. A granary is a keeper of abundance, a safeguard against hunger, a reminder of our connection to the land. This August, we invite you to stand with us at the San Lorenzo Library as we build a granary together. Learn how our ancestors cared for the acorn. Help create a structure that will hold this sacred food. Carry forward the story of the oak into your own hands. We wish for you to drop by, lend your hands, your heart, and your presence. Together, we will honor the past and root ourselves in the teachings of the land.
