To preface, I understand the importance of accuracy when it comes to translations. I have been learning korean since 2013/2014 slowly (this is all mentioned on my carrd). I am not ethnically korean, nor am I a native speaker. I am still learning new nuances and connotations every day. If you are accusing me of AI, this doesn't make..the most sense to me. Mostly because (to my understanding) it would make more sense for the AI to be accurate wouldn't it?
I study daily, and I confirm with individuals I know to be fluent / native korean on various terms when I am unsure. For example, there was a clip of SNs live where I wasnt sure what was being said but it ended up being a nuance I was unfamiliar with.
I admit that I was hasty with JHs FROMM translation, and I apologize. I acknowledge my error.
For POP lives I always listen and type out a 'script' as it progresses. This is how I am able to do things so quickly. Anything I miss I go over once I am in CapCut and editing the live.
My process is this: I screenrecord the live, type out the script, upload the live into CapCut and use the autocaption feature to automatically implement captions (this saves me a lot of time) and then copy paste/make additional adjustments as needed
Even then, the amount of time it takes for me to get through a live is taxing, but I do it so more people can enjoy the members' content/interactions
Also I am genuinely curious how people think I can translate voice POP lives without understanding korean? Is there a way to do that now??

I’m just a simple monkey playing the symbols, but it seemed to me that ewe didn’t notice that the word you backed up to replace with “a female sheep” was “ewe”, just after you displayed that same pun!

I'm gonna release a video editor soon, a side project i worked on for about 12 months, half written by me, but a lot of feats made with AI in the last few months, with autocaption, motion tracking, and a lot of cool feats.
Would have never been able to ship all of that by myself before especially in that timeframe.

I've used capcut too. Even before the autocaption was behind a subscription. Atm it's just figuring out whether paying for it vs hiring an editor will be more budget friendly in the long run

1. I honestly filmed this video in 2:40 total, one take with a few hiccups lol
2. I've got it down to like 10-20 minutes to edit this, pretty easy, just trim out all the fluff, autocaption, some zoom / effects then add music and ship it
I have a few ideas for ones I should prepare for and try with shooting / editing lol
