Yea buddy, you're way off on this one. A good doctor will listen and look into any health concerns you have. No doctor should be pressured to a specific time frame. That kind of ideology stems from large health care providers who don't see patients, only numbers. And that's one of the biggest problems our healthcare system has here in the US. The moment doctors start treating patients the same way autotechs (which I am one btw) treat cars, we're screwed.

I mean, he literally spent like 3 months spamming infinites, but he gets tech chased ONCE and he crashes out. Honestly, after seeing how he ruined NA ladder and was probably one of the reasons autotechs were even added, I find it hard to have any sympathy for him...

But how much are the autotechs getting paid? From my perspective autotech pay has NOT increased, it has actually decreased in some markets. On top of that, good autotechs are getting harder to come by for a multitude of reasons.

It's not just that, they're also making the vehicles exceedingly harder to work on. It's like they're taking cues from German manufacturers. This is having an impact on how many autotechs, like myself, are willing to work on newer vehicles. When you get paid the same amount of money to do a tune up on two cars, but one takes you an hour to do and the other takes you 6 hours to do, which do you think will get priority? I'd guess this is also playing a part on why I'm seeing a lot more people interested in buying older (10 year old) vehicles than new ones.

Heard this happen before from friends that work at 12v shops and dealerships. It happens a lot more often than most people think. Imho those employees and their leadership needs to be fired, on the spot. As an autotech lead myself, if me or any of my guys did this, we'd get fired instantly. Autotechs need to respect not just the vehicles we work on, but also the owners of those vehicles.
