Yesterday, I received a delegation from the African Women Leaders Network (AWLN), Nigeria Chapter @AWLN_Nigeria , for the signing of the partnership agreement between AWLN and CLTC @cltcnigeria . The delegation was led by the Chairperson, Prof. Funmilayo Para-Mallam mni. This milestone builds on an earlier commitment made during the 2026 edition of the Young Women’s Leadership Conference (YWLC ‘26), where both parties pledged to work together to advance young women's leadership, empowerment and development. The signing served as a formalisation of that commitment, providing a clearer framework for deeper collaboration and sustained impact. A key aspect of this partnership is the joint execution and delivery of structured intergenerational mentorship programmes, ensuring that participants continue to benefit from capacity-building opportunities, networking and other empowerment initiatives beyond the conference.
