That I think is more or less the convention for all the specialized programs like architecture, design etc where the name is B(specialization) rather than BTech/BS(hons) Main issue here is hackathon instead of adding on test or rider which was the usual practice

My story so far 👇 Chapter 1 : Late Start Hey guys I'm Pritam Chauhan a Btech graduate of 2019 batch. Currently working @FarEye as solution engineer. Frankly I really don't like what I'm doing right now. You can say I just hate being at my work but as I don't have any option I'm doing it but I'm grateful that I still have a job atleast. I started little late in tech. I was 25 years old when I started, i remember joining a bootcamp for learning web developement. Initially I really enjoyed doing it. Gradually I became good at HTML CSS and JavaScript. I was able to make decisions web apps. After learning frontend for 3 months I started applying for jobs as I really needya job at that point of time. After applying to 10 to 15 companies luckily I got selected in one company or u can say an agency as junior software developer. The salary was not too fancy, I was offered a salary of 200 dollars per month I accepted the offer because I really needed a job. After working for 1 and half years I realised that the work I was doing is something I don't like. I felt like the job is draining all my energy. I respected that job but I suddenly I lost all the motivation to go at work, the same kind of work, the same cubicle, the same place I really never imagined that I would dislike the job once I was very excited to join. So decided to quit the job one fine day. One major reason to quit this job was it was very low paying I was merely saving anything for me and my family. I thought after quitting the job I will prepare for better company and I will take better job. But but but.... Destiny has its own plan, it never works the way you thought of Chapter 2 : struggles of being unemployed I quit my job. I thought that I will prepare for better opportunity now but things never go the way we thought of When you are unemployed each months passing will built pressure on you. Even your family members started hating you You will start feeling that it was better being in low salary rather than being unemployed. Your relatives will start asking what happened to you why you not working ( especially in india ). I was in lot of pressure to get the job. After 3 months of being unemployed I somehow got into one company where I'm currently working, the role which I was interviewed for , i never heard of it but as I really needed job i joined here but after few months of working here . I realised I don't like the work I'm doing it was not technical work, this work involves lot of non tech work. I still hate this work every day but this job is paying my bills so I'm just doing it for money and nothing else Chapter 3 : Rising again I was good at mathematics from my school days . I really enjoyed doing math. During my college days I always dreamt of making my career in Artificial intelligence. I was very curious how everything happens and how I can learn all the things. I even started learning machine learning from some videos on YouTube but dropped because I didn't understand a single word because at that time their was no awareness around this role, like what all prerequisites are required to atleast understand ML. I should have not stopped at that time I should have continued. I still regret that decision I should have continued but now I can't go in the past and fix the mistakes I have done. Only thing I can do is not repeat those mistakes again. So I decided at the age of 30, I will go all into AI research and irrespective of what happens whether I get success or not i will stick into this field as I always wanted to do it. Our biggest problem is income tax , being a general category person, I hadn't money to do btech , no help from government, somehow manged to do BSc and MSc from distance mode , after so many years of hard works started earning decent money but income tax is taking all hard work
