To be fair I have been a bubble dev for 3 years and only used it 5 times. If you have reusables/ backendworkflows and not too many duplicated elements/workflows you don't need it that often.

To debug backend workflows, create "things" or make changes to things in them. That way you can inspect what was changed, in what way and at what time, and how far you are done. A quarter of my datatypes are just to monitor or help with backendworkflows
