The only thing you can argue the GRC does better is offroad feel, but the Golf R is better on track, on the windy backroads, off the line, and as a daily. There are plenty of direct comparisons online, from major car reviewers. I love the GRC but it needs to be cheaper.

When and if you drive back from Texas to Georgia, take I-20 instead of boring and soul-crushing I-10. Better yet, take parallel backroads through small towns if you have a little extra travel time to spare.
