As an organizer of one of Japan’s RegionalRubyKaigi, I can imagine how difficult this decision must have been. I sincerely hope you’ll come back stronger next year!
I’ll be sharing recordings of last year’s talks while also announcing this year’s speakers.
Visibility for us, knowledge for everyone :)
Help out with likes and reposts, but most importantly — with views.

Before announcing the speakers, we want to thank those who helped select them. It was outstanding work and a perfectly structured process. Many thanks to every member of the program committee!

So last year I missed @BalkanRuby because apparently the nearest visa appointment is 4 months away.
This year I decided to look for slots in early January. Learned my lesson, right? Wrong. Over 6 months away.
@balticruby turned out to be a lot more accessible – just a week until the nearest appointment.
Which is ironic considering I live on the Balkans, mere 5 hours away from Sofia. Oh well. Next year I guess?
📅 Events:
- @balticruby extended its CFP for this year's conference until end of January
- @GregMolnar is organising a workshop about Security in the Age of AI
- @inazarova announced the next SFRuby meetup for 22nd January at Persona HQ
The video for my presentation at Baltic Ruby back in June (on Ruby and Event Sourcing). Code samples lost a bit of formatting, and my voice gets progressively hoarser throughout, but I think I struck a decent balance between ideas and code. Thanks to the @balticruby team!
From the beginning, this was a project for the community, not just Rails World. Shoutout to @tropicalonrails and @balticruby for using the app for their events this year. That’s exactly what why it's open source. ❤️
